Unexpected delight submitted by brooksza on August 15, 2022, 11:49am This was so enjoyable. It fits in perfectly in the gothic comic book movie era of the early 90s with the Burton Batmen and Dick Tracy. The Danny Elfman score was very similar to the Batman theme. The Raimisms work well in this and are pretty horrific. I really liked the transitions between some of the scenes.

The climactic showdown is violent and dark.

I was worried we wouldn't get a Bruce Campbell cameo in this until we did.
