COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Worthwhile submitted by rossorr on October 4, 2016, 11:37am In the 'Gold Diggers' series, the must-see classic is the '1933' film. This one is still pretty snappy, although more on the story end than the musical one. Joan Blondell is at her most adorbs here; or, if boys are your thing, keep an eye on insurance sidekick 'Boop' played by Lee Dixon. The final dance number 'Love is Just Like War' is plenty warped, even if the production feels a bit stripped down by Busby Berkeley standards.
