Expansive Jazz submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2020, 1:12pm This album comines jazz, R&B, and Afrobeat into a robust, upbeat sound built around a dynamic percussive core. Something about the music grabbed my attention immediately and held it throughout the album: simply put, it’s good music, performed with tons of soul by talented musicians. I highly recommend this for anyone interested in modern jazz music that incorporates influences from non-Western cultures; the blend is absolutely thrilling.
