Not the worst sparkly vampire book submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 29, 2012, 12:38pm Although it is also about sparkly vampires (which is just a ridiculous concept), I liked "The short second life of Bree Tanner" far better than the other "Twilight" books. Bree is not nearly as helpless, dependent or passive as Bella. Bree actually solves problems and figures out on her own what's happening.
If you like the "Twilight" books, this one is OK but if you don't read it, you won't be missing anything.

Good submitted by Motomori on June 18, 2013, 11:56am I liked it better because Bree seems to be more independent and seems to have more fun than Bella. I still like the Twilight series but if you made Bella seem more like Bree, then maybe I would enjoy it a little more.

actually not bad submitted by KOH on August 26, 2017, 2:53pm Considering it's in the Twilight universe, it's not a bad story.
