great book for teens submitted by 21621031390949 on August 12, 2016, 12:32pm I really enjoyed listening to this book. Although it is intended for an older teen audience, as a 60+year old woman, I still found it compelling and interesting. It's told from the point of view of the 17-year-old protagonists, and so, is appropriately adolescent. Great book for teens, also interesting for adults.
emotional submitted by camelsamba on August 28, 2016, 10:55pm I listened to this (through overdrive instead of BOCD) and wow: the narrator does a really good job conveying emotions! I was on the edge of tears more than once. The story is told from the point of view of 17 year old Mia, in a sort of out-of-body state after an automobile accident. It weaves in elements of her previous life to help set the context for the decision she must make. Very powerful.
Okay submitted by zmclaugh on July 27, 2018, 8:40pm An interesting concept, but I never felt there was much at stake.
