Bree Tanner, a character first introduced in ECLIPSE, and the darker side of the newborn vampire world she inhabits. In another irresistible combination of danger, mystery, and romance, Stephenie Meyer tells the devastating story of Bree and the newborn army as they prepare to close in on Bella Swan and the Cullens, following their encounter to its unforgettable conclusion.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Not the worst submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 29, 2012, 12:40pm Although it is also about sparkly vampires (which is just a ridiculous concept), I liked "The short second life of Bree Tanner" far better than the other "Twilight" books. Bree is not nearly as helpless, dependent or passive as Bella. Bree actually solves problems and figures out on her own what's happening.

If you like the "Twilight" books, this one is OK but if you don't read/listen to it, you won't be missing anything.
