When Anna's four-year anniversary to her boyfriend passes without an engagement ring, she decides to take matters into her own hands. Inspired by an Irish tradition that allows women to propose to men on Leap Day, Anna follows Jeremy to Dublin to propose to him. But after landing on the wrong side of Ireland, she must enlist the help of Declan, a handsome and carefree local man, to get her across the country. Along the way, they discover that the road to love can take you to very unexpected places.

I loved the scenery, but I read somewhere that they didn't even film in Boston or Ireland and most of the scenery was computer-generated, but it was nice on the eye to see the "scenery" anyway. I loved the characters and they people that Anna meets, and it was very entertaining and light, and fun! Get the popcorn out, and enjoy this movie!

It is a sweet story that takes you through a woman's trip through Ireland trying to get to her boyfriend so she can propose on February 29. Due to weather issues things become more difficult than Anna (Amy Adams) had planned for. She meets a man who tries to help her on her journey across Ireland. The journey gets longer and longer and they seem so different and argue so much that it will make you laugh. I thought I was going to be disappointed because of the way I thought things were going to turn out and why they would turn out that way. But, in the end I liked the reason and the way things turned out. Aside from the story, there are many views of the landscape, which was of course beautiful.

This is a fun film that hits all of the right notes, with some excellent scenery to boot.
