Great Introduction circa 1991 submitted by vk on December 31, 2010, 10:07pm Filmed in 1991, this short 38-min. DVD is a great introduction to the continent of Antarctica, with just the right balance of then-current and historical footage. Alas, Antarctica is not frozen in time and has changed dramatically since then; see e.g., "The Antarctica Challenge: A Global Warning" DVD 551.6 AN. But watch this DVD first.
