COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Transported to a wonderful place! submitted by Kikumatsu97 on June 12, 2015, 8:55am I LOVE this series! there are several volumes going through season four and all are delightful. I immediately fell in love with the characters and wonderful actors whose portrayals were so dedicated and well done. We've seen these actors come further into the limelight over the last few years with the popularity of Downton Abbey, Harry Potter, and the many other fantastic BBC editions of Charles Dickens novels and so many other great contributions.
This is definitely one of my favorites and really plays to the more romantic side of things. It really inspried me to bake bread, wear aprons and drink more tea. Dorcas Lane and Laura are a great pair and such a lovely example for young women. The relationships between all of the characters and the various drifters who roll into town bring great life lessons. I would recommend this for pre-teens up to Seniors. All would enjoy. Some Violence and some romantic insinuation. (copied from my other review)
