gee whiz submitted by RJD on June 1, 2010, 11:45pm Hollywood at it finest. A...decent watch...a little stupid at times...how can they put together those GIGANTIC affects...only to have me (at least) sit there and frequently wonder how the scenes only made me feel...nothing, (but the awareness, of me experiencing scenes, images, and situations that were completely vacuous). It certainly was better than I'd expected...but so what?

Great Effects submitted by mysterio on June 19, 2011, 6:40am I loved the special effects!

Great submitted by pandangel12 on June 25, 2011, 9:18am A breathtaking movie on how the world might end in 2012. The special effects are marvolous and the scenes real. 4 stars!

Fun submitted by Chris82 on July 31, 2011, 9:43pm Its more of a special effects movie than a plot driven movie but it was a fun disaster flick to watch.

now what submitted by ftan on July 16, 2012, 3:38pm this movie was very "haunting". but i cannot like it anymore because i am still alive in 2012.

2012 submitted by SBNB on July 10, 2015, 2:37pm It's ok. I tend to like disaster movies It's fascinating watching the tornadoes rip through the city and seeing the water come up to the mountain tops.

Sail away sail away submitted by leenajong on August 16, 2015, 9:48pm End of the world movies always make me want to build a boat instead.

Disaster! submitted by Meginator on July 21, 2017, 7:20pm For an apocalyptic disaster film, 2012 hits all the right notes, with good CGI to boot. The story is thrilling and has a lot of action, and while it's not the greatest movie ever it's perfectably servicable for what it is.

Ok submitted by yenkong on August 7, 2017, 6:50pm I think it's not bad at all.

Decent submitted by c_zhang on June 29, 2019, 1:16pm It's more of a special effects movie than a plot-driven movie but it was a fun disaster flick to watch.
