More than enough thrills

Theatre director Kate Stanley returns in a second action and poetry packed novel to complement Interred with their Bones. This time, she's on the hunt for an ur-Macbeth and her life and the life of a young girl are in the balance.
The speculation about Shakespeare's life and times is bewitching, but the modern day action is a little forced. Carrell goes a bit overboard with her overzealous police forces showing up instantly to any whisper of a crime. Still, it definitely kept me turning pages and made me feel plenty of shivers down my spine.
