Good submitted by ColeenT on August 25, 2011, 12:34pm I enjoyed this book

Heart Touching submitted by khaddrill on July 7, 2012, 7:54pm This book is incredible. It opens your eyes to whole new view of things.
(Warning: You're gonna burst into tears after finishing the book)

Good submitted by jmock on July 24, 2012, 10:17pm The actual idea--reliving a day until you get it right--was not original. The way the author used it, however, was entirely new. You think it's going one direction, but then you realize that it's going down a totally unexpected path. I think some of it might have been a tad bit inappropriate in the middle and her excuses for doing certain things a little bit too New Age (The "I'm-just-finding-myself-so-whatever-I-did-is-all-right"kind of thing).

Touching submitted by saira29 on July 25, 2012, 4:16pm Amazing book!!! Your going to love it!!!! So touching

entertaining submitted by mrondo on June 17, 2017, 9:50pm This book was a little slow at first but picked up in the second half. I love the exploration of such a tricky question as the meaning of life.

great submitted by LijunHan on June 20, 2017, 11:39am Great book! Loved it so much

Twist on a Theme submitted by Meginator on June 30, 2017, 8:17am I'm a sucker for stories that involve time travel, and picked up this book because I was interested in how the author would use the Groundhog Day scenario. After the first chapter, I had a pretty good idea of where most of the major story arcs were headed, but the details are so well done that I was constantly rushing to read more nonetheless. Moreover, a few of the twists genuinely surprised me, which is a credit to Oliver's ability to make her characters really come alive. The book has a lot of humor and heart and encourages readers to think of all of the characters, even the villains, as people with their own secrets and motivations; everything feels genuine and several of the characters could have stepped right out of my own high school experience.

"Before I Fall" is a great example of an author treading well-worn ground in a fresh way, with enough wrinkles to make the book worth reading.

Trigger warning: bullying, self-harm, alcohol, sexual assault

love submitted by Shahed on June 23, 2018, 11:21pm always resisted reading it! now it's one of my fav's

Alright submitted by c_zhang on June 27, 2019, 11:45pm The trope used in this book isn't unique, but the way it's used is. I really liked the writing style.
