One of His Best submitted by crazypockets on June 17, 2013, 2:06am I am a huge Sherman Alexie fan, so I was really excited to see AADL had not only this book, but the book on CD version where he reads it. He's one of those authors whose work sounds best when in his voice. His writing, and especially his short stories are always great, but I really enjoyed this one a lot. The writing is solid and poignant, and he begins to get away a little bit from his traditional Rez setting which was interesting. Alexie's stories have a terrific dark humor to them, and they will jab you in the heart when you're not looking. I would listen to this collection again and again.
