loved it submitted by ColeenT on July 13, 2011, 5:04pm loved it

Well done submitted by andrea on August 22, 2011, 11:48pm Several of my friends told me they loved the book and hated the movie, so it was with some trepidation that I set out to watch the movie after finishing the book. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the movie stayed reasonably true to the book. Of course parts were left out, as always has to happen when a book is made into a feature length film, but the important relationships and events are there.

Boorrriing. submitted by markwells on January 28, 2012, 3:33pm D+ Maybe I'm missing something but I thought this was a slogging, sluggish, and slightly sappy melodrama that wanted to tug at my heartstrings but didn't give me reason enough to care about the characters or their plight. For a romantic time travel movie, see instead, Somewhere In Time.

read the book submitted by michalcarmon on June 27, 2012, 11:43am lame movie adaptation, read the book, it's much better

Just Ok submitted by andreahubert on July 14, 2012, 6:38pm I found myself watching this movie when it came on tv one night. It was an okay movie.

Suspenseful, great movie. submitted by jgetty on August 25, 2015, 7:13pm This movie really had me on the very edge of my seat! It also was really heart-wrenching, very sad really. But, at the end of it, I really loved it and enjoyed it.

Alright submitted by c_zhang on June 29, 2019, 1:23am It was decent.

The Time Traveler's Wife submitted by lstorc on July 28, 2019, 10:14pm The Time Traveler's Wife is tolerable. It's a decent adaptation with worthwhile acting. It feels like something is missing and is pretty boring overall.

Time Traveler's Wife submitted by crp on August 29, 2019, 3:00pm nice story, but sad-- be prepared for that
