Interesting, if not partuclarly skilled submitted by apknapp on August 11, 2013, 12:01pm I enjoyed learning more about Wheaton's life after ST:TNG and his struggle with finding a career while fighting against the has-been label. His writing, however, is not great--the blog posts he includes are often immature, hyper-emotional rants, and any dialogue is just clumsy and flat. I'd characterize his overall writing style as too many words saying too little.
Loved it submitted by melimsah on March 27, 2015, 3:58pm I read - well, actually, listened to - this book about five years ago at a point in my life where I didn't know what in the world I was doing with my life. This book definitely provided a catalyst for change in my life. It's both funny and poignant, a great read if you align with geek or nerd, and you don't even have to be a Star Trek fan to enjoy it (I'd never seen TNG when I read this book). Might not be the greatest work of narrative non-fiction in the world, but I definitely feel it's worth a read.
