Roger Thornhill is a New York advertising executive who is kidnapped by a gang of spies led by Philip Vandamm, who believes Thornhill is CIA agent George Kaplan. Thornhill escapes, but must find Kaplan in order to clear himself of a murder that Kaplan is accused of committing. Following Kaplan to Chicago as a fugitive from justice, Thornhill is helped by beautiful Eve Kendall. In Chicago, she delivers a message to Kaplan that almost costs Thornhill his life when he is chased across a cornfield by a crop-dusting plane.

It's Still Great Film! submitted by ekjensen on July 28, 2018, 10:19pm Just finished watching NbyNW on TCM and it still is a strong movie with great casting, the debonair Cary Grant and delicious Eva Marie Saint and sauve villains, James Mason and Martin Landau, clever crop duster scene, and campy, but inspiring views and chases at Mt Rushmore and the United Nations. Must see!

Swoony Cary Grant submitted by A2AE on July 19, 2021, 7:56pm How can you go wrong with a cheeky, swoon-worthy Cary Grant? His sunglasses and dialogue on the train alone could have made the movie. It's such a fun action movie that is so much lighter than you'd expect from a Hitch film.
