Georgia came to Greece to follow a man. Cast aside, she finds herself alone and adrift in this foreign land. Eventually, her passion for history leads her to a job as a tour guide. But Georgia is bored, and has lost her 'kefi' (Greek for mojo) to boot. When Poupi replaces her regular driver at the last minute, Georgia thinks that her luck has just hit rock bottom. Thankfully, Georgia's latest batch of tourists is a more lively bunch than she's anticipated, and in between bouts with rival tour guide Nico, she manages to form a genuine connection with wisecracking widower Irv. Irv is a solo vacationer who maintains a jovial facade despite the fact that he misses his late wife dearly. With a little help from Irv, Georgia comes to realize that true love may be closer than she thinks.

Cute submitted by crazypockets on June 19, 2013, 5:07pm This wasn't as funny as "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," but it was cute enough. I liked the scenery, and the dynamic between the two romantic leads were cute. It had some good funny moments, but my only complaint would be Richard Dreyfuss' character. When did he become the annoying old guy on a tour/in a movie? He's usually so great. Oh well. A decent romantic comedy.

The ONE joke is growing STALE already. submitted by Tassos on October 14, 2019, 9:52am This RIDICULOUS and really OFFENSIVE movie is all about ONE Lousy joke that is repeated again and again throughout the worthless movie. I like Nia, but the stereotypes in the movie were really OFFENSIVE.

She discovers how to share her love for Greek history in a fun way and also rediscovers her love of life with a funny cast of characters!

Plucky fun Rom-Com submitted by eileenw on July 30, 2022, 6:43pm While not as funny or good as My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Nia Vardalos brings the same lovable energy to this role as she did to her earlier film. If you're a rom-com fan, give it a watch.
