Likeable Jerk submitted by Sara W on June 27, 2011, 9:32pm Man, Greg is a JERK. But he's likeable, as long as you don't have to spend time around him. Jeff Kinney is a very funny writer who knows his characters inside and out and adds great detail jokes - like the Lil' Cutie comic that Greg and his dad love to hate. That was perfect.

These books are really entertaining and I like to read them for fun when I'm bored, and they give me a laugh or two. I think that some parts are true, and others are hilarious.

so I made one of my own and write like him.
The book is hilarious and I felt sympathy with him in some parts.
It gave me hard laugh and I think this is so good book to laugh out loud.

If you've liked the previous ones, you'll enjoy this one too. I personally found this book super funny and it's a perfect quick read for kids. If you've never read Diary of a Wimpy kid before, totally give it a try. It's hard to set these down.

They may especially enjoy the audio book version or the film, but I can think of little children's media that is harsher for me, the parent. To me, it is less the diary of a wimpy kid than the constant whining of a whiny kid. A squeamish, boring, not very intelligent kid. In the movies, the character is a little easier to take, but in the book, and even more so in the audio books, this child is insufferable.
