John Agee is Wonderfull submitted by ferdoble on August 1, 2011, 5:09pm I can’t say enough about John Agee. I liked him as soon as I read him and he just continues to grow on me. His story’s are fun and his illustrations are deceptively simple, but so full of expression and humor that it makes you wish there was more.

Wonderful Wordplay submitted by Meginator on July 4, 2022, 8:55am This book of poems absolutely delights in all aspects of wordplay, particularly in homonyms and tongue twisters. The illustrations that accompany each poem usually take the meaning quite literally, adding an extra dimension to the humor and helping readers who may get a bit lost in all of the words, and the poems themselves are absolutely delightful both in the ways that they celebrate the peculiarities of the English language and in their literal contents. This is a fantastic book to read aloud for both beginning and very experienced readers, and I recommend it for anyone who enjoys thinking about and exploring language.
