COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Awesome! submitted by Meg98 on June 20, 2012, 9:46pm This book talks about how the death of a loved one can result in a constant worry of everything. Annie worries about riding her bike, so she walks it, she keeps bandages all over herself, and even borrows a medical book from her neighbor so she can "make sure" she doesn't have some fatal disease when she has a bug bite or a rash. When Annie meets a new neighbor who is also sad because of a death, they both work together and encourage each other to let their worry go and remind themselves that accidents happen and they can't keep worrying over possible things that could happen, but instead just have fun and worry about things when they happen. They both need to put away the umbrella. This is a great book for 2-7th grade girls.
