Untitled submitted by marisal on August 23, 2011, 9:45am To me that painting kinda looks like a kitchen counter.

Don't Like It submitted by jarroyo on August 9, 2012, 11:07pm I have to say I am not a fan of this painting. It's looks easy to do. I don't really see the skill in this painting. It looks like something anyone could do.

Symphonies submitted by rdb78 on April 4, 2013, 9:37pm I didn't grasp this kind of painting myself, until it was pointed out to me that paintings like this are to art what symphonies and other instrumental pieces are to music. We seem to have an easier time enjoying music without lyrics than we do a painting without human figures or other recognizable subjects.

I enjoy Rothko and Pollock much more now, when viewing them as something that is just there, giving a sense of abstract visual interest.

Riveting submitted by jgetty on June 17, 2015, 8:18am There's something riveting about Mark Rothko works - I can stare at them and be transfixed in a meditation. I like this one for its colors and alignment.

Don't get it. submitted by EJZ on July 28, 2018, 7:57pm Reminds me of how a band-aid looks after the blood has dried and soaked through to the outer layer, but less artistic than that.

What I'm saying is, not a Rothko fan.

Untitled submitted by SBNB on August 25, 2018, 10:40am I don't like this one. It's dark and kind of ugly.

I see why it's untitled. submitted by tbbrown76 on August 31, 2018, 9:46pm The artist intended to discard it. Not a good piece at all. 1/5

Untitled submitted by c_zhang on June 16, 2019, 1:32pm I don't particularly like the colors.

Untitled submitted by i'm a blobfish on June 17, 2019, 9:41pm It looks kinda simple, and the colors are kinda muddy. I don't know what they were trying to express here, but I don't get it. It's fine if you like it, I just can't appreciate this kind of art.

Don't like it submitted by Varshini on June 19, 2019, 11:56pm I don't like it. It's just a few colored shapes.

What is this... submitted by JY 2005 on June 20, 2019, 11:27pm I can't tell what this is, but I like the contrast in red they used.

idek what this is submitted by .-.-.-. on July 6, 2019, 7:42pm No clue what this is. It's sorta just the sun shining and a piece of land. Plus it looks like a paintbrush painting. 1/5 stars.

A change of pace submitted by toschag on July 15, 2019, 3:56pm A lot of Rothko’s piece are very regular with similar width rectangles. This one is more chaotic with some seeming to be squished and flattened almost out of the frame which is disconcerting to look at.

What is it? submitted by DL on August 16, 2020, 10:48pm Not a fan of this at all.
