I slip it on in the background for white noise, and I mean that in a complimentary sense. It's perfect music to have on when you have people over for video games. In fact, let me plan a night in for you: invite a friend or two over, make a pizza, put on your favorite Nintendo (or Atari) game, and put Los Angeles on for ambiance.
