COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Deeply creepy submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 25, 2012, 8:53pm Based on "The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde," this BBC series, set in modern-day Britain, is very mysterious but also deeply frightening. By the same creator as the new "Doctor Who" and "Torchwood" series, the plot line is compelling but sometimes hard to understand.

Paterson Joseph, who plays Benjamin and was previously in "Survivors," does a very unconvincing southeastern U.S. accent.

It bothers me that the front cover photo makes our main character look as if he has dark skin when the actor really is not. Is this to make him seem more frightening? If so, the racist implications are far more scary than the show itself.
