Excellent submitted by GJBarnett2 on June 29, 2020, 10:47am It's difficult to learn the grammatical structure of a foreign language if one can't relate it to that of one's own native language and since the American educational institution deemed it unnecessary to teach English grammar in public schools decades ago, this book and the others in the "English Grammar series" serve an extremely useful purpose in teaching both English and foreign grammar. Highly recommended for self-study and as a secondary classroom text.
