i like it submitted by harajuku528 on June 29, 2011, 3:34pm cool

Lame submitted by schoenbaechlere on June 29, 2011, 7:01pm Poor ABBA. I know that Benny & Björn had a hand in this, but they should have thought twice about turning the musical into a movie. It's pretty embarrassing.

Its ok submitted by lec.dank on July 12, 2011, 8:03pm Sorta good

Delightful submitted by klickitat on August 19, 2012, 11:02pm No, it doesn't make any sense but it's a whole lot of fun and a great mood lifter. The sing-a-long mode is a neat feature.

Fun! submitted by crazypockets on July 16, 2013, 1:39pm When we went to see this in the theater, my cousins and I sat separately from the "adults" in the theater. I kept hearing someone laughing through the whole thing, and afterward, we found out it'd been my aunt. She'd been having such a great time, she couldn't help laughing. I didn't get quite that into it, but it is still just a fun movie. The locale is exotic, the scenery is beautiful, and the story is fun. Meryl Streep really surprised me with her singing, and the scene where she sings "The Winner Takes It All" will remind you that "oh yeah, that's why she's THE Meryl Streep." A fun summertime movie to watch with the folks.

Colin Firth in Spandex submitted by Cami K on July 26, 2013, 6:51pm This movie doesn't have the greatest plot, but the music and dance scenes are great. And the song at the end with the 3 "dads" dressed in 70s spandex dancing is priceless.

Parts good submitted by rlmorgan on August 23, 2013, 6:42am The music is good, but the singing not always. The story line is ok. I've never seen the stage show but the movie was lacking. I prefered looking up a CD of the original ABBA music.

The music will stick in your head for a long long time submitted by Zekicmom on June 16, 2017, 4:56pm If you don't over think it, this movie is a lot of fun. But I have to wonder whose idea it was to cast Pierce Brosnan in a musical.

#1 Guilty Pleasure... submitted by Ella K on June 26, 2019, 5:05pm Mamma Mia! While this movie is not what I would call moving or deep, the chick-flick always brings a smile to my face. From the catchy songs and dance routines to the nail-biting "I have three dads" drama, this movie will leave you joyful and with an ABBA song stuck in your head. The casting is great, however Pierce Brosnan is most certainly a better actor than singer. Overall: I highly recommend this movie as a pick me up any day!

Love the music submitted by dlfredrickson on July 26, 2019, 3:51pm I like this movie, but I like the second one better (I saw it before I saw this one).

Fantastic submitted by Annabeth4 on July 30, 2019, 5:40pm This movie is so amazing and I highly recommend it! The music gets you dancing and the plot puts you on the edge of your seat!

Pretty good submitted by denisemw on August 2, 2020, 11:15am Pretty good movie; you will like it better if you are an Abba fan. Great scenery and will leave you in a good mood. Meryl Streep is good, but about 20 years too old for the role. Her sidekicks are great. If you want a pick-me-up or see gorgeous scenery, see it. I liked seeing Pierce Brosnan in the movie - a little like Dancing with the Stars where people get outside their comfort zones.

Disappointing submitted by sara on August 16, 2020, 11:12am I had been told how wonderful this movie was...but I did not like it very much. I do like Abba, but didn't like some of the arrangements in the movie.

So much fun submitted by avrogers1 on June 15, 2021, 9:03pm I love this movie, the songs and arrangements are awesome and the tunes are catchy and get stuck in you head. Its a feel good movie.

Catchy songs! submitted by vulke99 on June 26, 2021, 11:32pm This is a fun story. I love the catchy songs!

Silly Fun submitted by cldaniels on July 20, 2021, 4:01pm Delightful music and fun plot and characters.

It's terrible and I love it submitted by elkwiatkowski on July 24, 2021, 6:25pm It's a lot of fun and those ABBA songs get stuck in your head for days.

This is a classic submitted by nmrhoads on July 24, 2021, 10:56pm The music is so good and this movie will make you feel better even if you have seen it 100 times.

fUN submitted by desuka81 on August 10, 2021, 3:59pm A really fun movie and sing along

fun submitted by umich.reader on June 17, 2022, 6:13pm Fun movie with great scenery that will get you in the mood for summer

Silly fun submitted by eileenw on July 13, 2022, 5:59pm You have to know what you're getting into when you watch this movie: you can't take it too seriously because that will ruin the silly fun of belting out ABBA songs in impossible situations. Some of the singing was ... awkward (Pierce Brosnan put in a particularly painful musical performance), which is a shame.

Wonderful Movie submitted by meerakmr on August 20, 2022, 12:17pm This movie introduced me to ABBA. I have seen it so many times that I practically know all the words! Loved it!

Love the music! submitted by OY on August 27, 2023, 11:49pm OK movie but the music was quite amazing!
