Zohan Dvir is an ex-commando, Mossad agent who decides to fake his death so he can re-emerge in New York City as a hair stylist. He romances his clients by giving them extra 'special services' in the back room of the beauty shop he works in. However, he is eventually recognized, and risks losing his newfound life and career.

Cultural stew submitted by willow on August 31, 2015, 8:32am Adam Sandler plays an Israeli Mossad agent who faked his own death so he can live out his dream as a hairdresser; he eventually starts offering sexual services as well. Rob Schneider plays the Arab character Salim, and John Turturro plays Fatoush "The Phantom" Hakbarah. Emmanuelle Chriqui, a Canadian actress of Moroccan Jewish descent, plays the Palestinian salon owner and love interest Dalia.

Strangely enough this movie seems to be a plea for world peace.
