Greywalker
submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on June 21, 2014, 9:09pm
After a near-fatal accident, Seattle Private Investigator Harper Blaine develops the ability to move through the Grey: the realm of ghosts, vampires, witches, and magic that exists between our world and the next.
Someone, or something is killing and mutilating the homeless people of Seattle, not to mention all the zombies now roaming the underground part of the city. It's just the sort of case only Harper can investigate, along with her friend Quinton, who lives a secret life amongst the homeless and tries to protect them.
The book incorporates elements of Native American myths and symbolism, with very unexpected results.
This is the third in the Greywalker series and it's best to read the prequels first to understand the background.
Seattle Paranormal Mystery submitted by sdunav on July 25, 2014, 4:53pm Pretty good mystery/paranormal set in Seattle. A monster is chewing up the drunk and homeless underground (train tunnels, abandoned underground sidewalks and buildings - some really fascinating stuff on Seattle's history here) and the protagonist, who can see ghosts and the like, may be the only one who can stop it. Some interesting Native history and myth, too.
