1920's, Los Angeles. In a hospital on the outskirts of town, Roy Walker, an injured stuntman, begins to tell young Alexandria, a fellow patient with a broken arm, a fantastical story about 5 mythical heroes. Amazing Trip Around The World submitted by siobhan on January 4, 2009, 6:56pm The Fall is the second feature film helmed by music video director Tarsem Singh, after The Cell with Jennifer Lopez and Vincent D'Onofrio. He financed it himself, in the millions of dollars, and has essentially been location-scouting for more than a decade, taking pictures of interesting places on music video and commercial shoots. It is the story of a movie stunt man in the early 1900's California who befriends a young girl with a broken arm while they are both in the hospital. The stunt man Roy, (played by Lee Pace of tv's 'Pushing Daisies') tells a epic story to the young girl, and we see it interpretted through her limitless imagination. What is astounding about the picture is that Tarsem used no computer effects for the composition, which means the blue city in Rajasthan, India is really blue, the dunes in Namibia are truly that orange, and the massive canvas cloth of blood was real. Nothing less than spectacular.

Small Name for A Huge Beauty. submitted by zalkalby on March 8, 2009, 6:45pm I have to say, this work of art had me hoping that it would not stop.
The characters have you so convinced of every emotion that touched their heart to make you feel the same. The production and work put into this film is expressed in every moment of watching and gives you an idea of how words can have other sides to them.

Favorite Movie of All Time submitted by megu11 on July 3, 2015, 3:57pm The Fall is everything you would ever want in a movie. Brilliantly written and beautifully shot in eighteen countries over the course of two years, this movie will have you laughing, crying, and everything in-between. I am someone who never likes to watch movies twice, but I have seen The Fall probably a dozen times.
