...Character submitted by Brad B. on August 25, 2009, 6:48pm O.k. so I hate to admit this, but I kind of liked this series...Yes, I am a guy. Yes, this is a magical girl manga. Yes, the cover is pink. So what? So help me, I have to admit -it's cute. I mean coated in sugar-you can't look away-cute. Basically, there are tiny little characters that hatch from eggs that represent everyone's souls, and each person has their own unique one, and, well... they are adorable bits of funny mayhem. There, I said it. But, I give this series credit that it doesn't just coast on cuteness alone. There is also a good amount of complexity about finding ones identity and changing / accepting who you are that make this an interesting read.

Shugo Chara submitted by Smiles on July 3, 2012, 3:59pm Amu is the "cool" kid at school but she just wants to be herself. She wants people to accept her for who she actually is. When Amu wakes up and finds 3 eggs in her bed, her life changes drastically.

Awesome Series!!! submitted by gxl on July 31, 2012, 8:11am Although Amu is the cool girl at school (due to the way she talks and dresses), she dreams of just being herself and having people except her true personality. One day she makes a wish and the next morning she finds three eggs on her bed. Nowing that Amu hads these eggs that hatch into gardian characters, Amu is now being scouted by the garadidans, which is basically the student council. This series is really good and I really like it!! ;)
