Lock & Key submitted by pandangel12 on June 21, 2011, 9:25am A moving book on a girl who's mom ran off and is now living with her sister and her husband. She isn't use to the kindness and privelidges she has. She befriends her neighbor and gets a good job. She gets use to interacting with other people and really grows in the story. Another one of Sarah Dessen's miracles.

Abandoned submitted by Smileyfrowns on June 21, 2012, 4:10pm A heart touching book about a 17 year old named Ruby, who's alcoholic mother leaves her months before her 18th birthday. Ruby contently lives on her own, before her nose landlords rat her out. She is then forced to move in with her sister, Cora, and her husband. Her life is unusually happy, and she finds a wonderful romance.

okay submitted by harajuku528 on June 24, 2013, 1:16pm Not her best book, but better than most.

Good!! submitted by unknown on July 12, 2014, 6:23pm I enjoyed this book although some parts were very predictable. There were some things that happened that I never would have expected, as well. It isn't the perfect fairy tale ending but I think it is still a good ending and it leaves you wondering about the future of everyone. I think that the main character changes A LOT through the course of this story. At the start she is this girl who doesn't want help from anyone and in a way doesn't really care about much. By the end she is this girl who has helped a ton of people and is going off to college with good grades. The main topic of the story is her necklace which is a metaphor for so many things.
