A Very Pleasant Surprise! submitted by mrajraspn08 on August 28, 2013, 9:54am I picked this up on a whim, not expecting to like it. The first few pages in...I loved it! The pace did slow down a bit from there, but it was still interesting enough to be well worth the read. A few things could be cut out or compressed, but overall, this is an unique and modern interpretation. If you like gamblers, fantasy, humor...you will like this book as much as I did, if not more.
