love it submitted by Ele Z. on August 6, 2011, 3:54pm very funny

Now With John Cleese! submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on July 15, 2014, 7:14am The Muppet Show is still the bar by which shows are judged, particularly ones that appeal to both children and adults. It's more than just a kid's show which grown-ups can bear to have on (Fozzie would come up with a joke here). Built around the idea of a variety show, it delivered variety in every possible way: puppets and humans, puns and slapstick, guest stars whom only the adult viewers would know but whose scenes still entertained the kids. Music, skits, and the craziness going on backstage in the Muppet Theater - an innovative show that holds up.

Watching it as a kid I didn't know much about the guest stars, but I'm impressed now, both by the guest stars willingness to participate in this madness and whoever got them on the show in the first place.

John Cleese submitted by doctorfang on August 2, 2015, 12:53am The muppets AND John Cleese! What more could you possibly want on this earth!
