Very touching submitted by yugure on July 2, 2013, 6:09pm Wonderful, extremely touching book about a child who wonders what his dog's life was like before he came into the child's life. Sadly, dogs end up in shelters for any number of reasons, and Boelts touches on them all gently in a way appropriate for young children. I definitely got teary reading through this book, especially with the particularly moving last page. Adoption is the best option, and this might be a good book for any family who will be adopting their own furry friend!
