So I Married An Axe Murderer submitted by jibkidder on July 29, 2022, 7:49pm I'd rather re-watch this tonight than Wayne's World! Nice Phil Hartman appearance. Just wanna say, as an aside, it's amazing how long the Spin Doctor's song "2 Princes" has endured. I mean, this is like a soft hippie grunge song, in the mode of, say, Phish or Blind Melon, with lyrics that don't make annnnny sense, beyond just establishing a vague love competition, and yet, there was a period in which my young son was obsessed with this song. We even saw the video during this period miraculously appear on the instore TV in a mall Journeys where the band looks like any undergrad music student at college in the 90s. In fact, I'd say I hear this Spin Doctors song placed in films or TV or on the radio more than I do Nirvana.
