Idea is good submitted by mdfalb on July 26, 2014, 11:07am The ideas is better than the execution. This is not as good as other LL books (Red Pajama, Misses Mama). I really loved the concept and wanted this to be a helpful book like the others, but it wasn't. Mama doesn't use very good parenting skills in several instances and the shopping theme isn't that great (big mega store or something). I'd avoid it personally, and in fact took it back to the library right away because I just didn't want to share it with my two-year-old. It wasn't helpful...

Not as relatable submitted by Efrie on August 4, 2014, 12:30pm Most kids, when going shopping, do not have the experiences of buying every single item in the same store, nor do they need to pay attention to what "sales" are all about. It wasn't as useful as the other books (and also doesn't explain very well why LL is mad at his Mama and throwing a tantrum, which was the primary reason we picked the book!)
