Classic and Necessary Jarmusch submitted by manz on March 11, 2009, 8:35am This is a great film. 5 cities, 5 taxi drivers, 5 time zones, all happening at the same time. Basically five small movies in one. Jarmusch magically catches the essence of each international city from the view point of a taxi cab's short journey. Having just a few characters in each bit makes for wonderful interaction among the actors, with wonderful and meaningful dialog. Watch this, and make sure you've also seen "Stranger Than Paradise," another Jarmusch gem.
