:) submitted by chloeandrews on June 21, 2011, 8:03am ONe of Dahl's best books!!!

awesome book submitted by AidinK on July 1, 2012, 11:23am Danny the champion of the world is a really exciting story. It gets a little bit scary at some points. Out of all the chapter books that I've read Danny the champion of the world is one of my favorites.

Good read submitted by lulumama on July 28, 2013, 10:03pm We read this aloud to my 6yo son and thought it might be too long for him (205 pages) but he really enjoyed it.

Father/Son Bonding Over Filched Fowl submitted by Sara W on August 20, 2015, 4:09pm This is a very Roald Dahl story - it's funny, it's well-told, and when you explain the premise, you realize how weird it sounds. Danny and his father work together to pull off a big stunt that's sure to take their snooty upper-class local landlord down a few pegs. It is full of adventure, humor, and utterly inventive, if slightly impossible, ideas.

Poaching submitted by Xris on July 24, 2016, 12:47am Great book for children to learn that not all adults follow all the rules.

Danny, the Champion of the World submitted by emiliana on August 23, 2020, 11:05am A good book!

A study in class submitted by emileeione on August 29, 2020, 8:12pm This book highlights class disparities and has a touching father son relationship.
