I recommend the print book
submitted by nemiller on July 23, 2019, 2:29pm
I love every book I've read by Elif Shafak, and this is no exception.
I stopped listening to her audiobooks, however, because of this book. Merlington mis-pronounces simple Turkish words, and I'm not fond of the way she pitches her voice when she voices male characters.
I love Shafak's books, and I love Merlington's narration of Temple Grandin's "The Way I See It," but I don't think the two are a good combination. I'd recommend reading the print book instead. "Honor" has different voice actors, though, so check that one out on audiobook!
