Worthwhile submitted by Sonia on July 3, 2011, 8:56pm While its not as good as the first one this is still a great movie about the paranormal.

Almost as good submitted by crazypockets on July 23, 2013, 12:07pm I think this one is almost as good as the original. The cast is mostly in tact, and it gets even crazier than the first. Who doesn't love slime? And especially slime that dances (why were the 80s and early 90s all about slime?). And the Titanic finally lands in New York City! There are so many weird, funny moments in this. It's a great movie to watch on New Year's Eve especially.

gb 2 submitted by a2sue on August 10, 2013, 7:34am the original film was better, but ghostbusters 2 was pretty good too. bill murray's character is the best -- he's so funny...

classic, duh submitted by manz on July 16, 2015, 12:54pm This is a classic! If you've seen part 1 you need to see part 2.

Too hot to handle, too cold to hold submitted by MH17 on June 18, 2017, 9:25pm This movie has it all: a demon-possessed painting, a river of slime coursing beneath New York City, a baby in peril, a fey villain with an indiscernible accent, Bill Murray, a theme song by Bobby Brown. What's not to like? While it's certainly no Ghostbusters I, or even Ghostbusters: The Saturday Morning Cartoon, it's still worth a view, if only for Bill Murray mugging his way through and Rick Moranis as a super nerd. Good early 90s fun!

Underrated Sequel submitted by Meginator on June 24, 2017, 3:13pm I don't get the hate for this sequel; it's really too much to expect lightning to strike twice, and "Ghostbusters 2" is a fitting follow-up to its predecessor, even if it isn't quite as sharp. The cast is as funny as ever (and they got all of the main players back!) and the new wrinkles are fun (I loved the Titanic gag, which was probably a little more out of left field prior to 1997), although I didn't quite understand or agree with the choice to essentially erase the first movie's events from NYC's collective memory. This movie is a lot of fun and fits the spirit of the original.

Decent sequel submitted by Marykw21 on August 12, 2017, 1:51pm Even though it wasn't as good as the original (which is always hard to do unless you're Toy Story) I absolutely loved this sequel.

Ghostbusters 2 submitted by crp on August 17, 2019, 12:27am A good movie but not as good as the first one
