COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Nostalgia for Novelty submitted by cherylo on June 25, 2012, 9:12pm A wide array of the bizarre and extremely funny can be found here, including widely know hits like Eat It and classic novelties like The Purple People Eater. An old favorite of mine was a full on nostalgia trip: Kip Adotta's Wet Dream, which as a teen was the height of rebellious listening, full of risque fish and sea life puns. A full tour of 20th century pop culture should surely include Dr. Demento, who gave Weird Al his start, kept Tom Lehrer alive in the public's ear, and helped Shel Silverstein along his path to wide acclaim. Thanks for the memories!
