random book from my childhood that continues to charm! submitted by lkboc on June 22, 2018, 4:03pm When I saw the cover of The Fourteen Bears, I knew I had to check it out. The illustrations are charming and invite children to pore over the details, inventing personalities for the many bear children. I recognized this book from my grandmother's home and remembered some details (the page with all the bears eating honey, the moment they knock over the snowman). My young sons enjoyed it, too.
