COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Okay submitted by Chris82 on July 31, 2011, 3:18pm Like the other Now albums this album contains of many of the best and most memorable songs from era (2005/2006 in this case). This particular one has a couple of good songs but its far from the best Now compilation available, nothing really stands out.

Now That's What I Call Music!. 23 submitted by Varshini on July 13, 2019, 11:02pm Memorable songs from 2006. Now #23

Includes Competing Breakup Songs from Both Members of the Couple submitted by Meginator on August 26, 2020, 4:25pm A comedown was inevitable after the uniformly excellent Now That’s What I Call Music 22, but this compilation holds its own even if it never reaches those heights. Justin Timberlake’s absolutely massive “SexyBack” is easily the album’s best (and most timeless) track, but several of these songs were absolutely everywhere in mid- to late 2006. Too many of these songs are also-ran follow-ups to the artists’ bigger and better hits, but as a whole they offer a decent enough picture of pop music in the era. Of particular interest are competing breakup singles from Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson(!), and if that doesn’t take you back to the early 2000s then nothing will.
