Solid Baking Book from the Queen of Baking submitted by Sara W on August 25, 2011, 8:39pm Dorie Greenspan is a baker's baker. She knows the science of the magic of flours and fats and she excels at explaining it to the rest of us. This book has great basics and a inventive, delicious recipes that will become favorites.

Good for those who like snickers-like desserts submitted by willow on July 18, 2014, 9:09pm I just couldn't get into most of the recipes in this book, unfortunately -- they didn't appeal to me, and I made several that were okay but not to my tastes. She has about five different chocolate/peanut/caramel variations.
