Turned a sport into a story

This story is just fantastic. It reminds me, in a way, of the book _Seabiscuit_, which told the story of a real life (if equine) athlete and his sport but in a way that sounded more like a novel and drove me to pick up the book again and again. If every sport had a book like this, a whole new world would open up to me.
The move _The Blind Side_ is incredibly faithful to the book in all major ways, so the book didn't add much to Michael Oher's story. But the book did add a fair amount about football, and in ways that were still completely accessible to a non-football fan like me. I highly recommend it as highly informative and still an excellent read.
