Movie is Better than the Book! submitted by timdufresne on July 9, 2018, 5:38pm One of the few where the lively use of narration, montage and excellent acting result in a work that breaths much needed life into a book that is fun, but kinda ponderous and a little to self-satisfied in it wryness. The movie, to me, made the people opposing Naylor funnier and more interesting, which made the conflict in the film fun to watch and hit that sweet spot of satire. Also William H Macy, Rob Lowe, and JK Simmons are both stunningly funny.
