Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, the story of a young working-class woman, Evey, who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked man known only as 'V.' Good on its own submitted by crazypockets on July 13, 2013, 1:36pm I know Alan Moore doesn't like his books to be adapted to screen, but I really enjoyed this. It is different from the graphic novel, but I thought they did a really great job with it anyway. The prison sequences made me think of "Darkness at Noon," and I thought the whole movie was very thought-provoking and powerful.
