1000 Best Quick and Easy Organizing Secrets submitted by a2sue on July 16, 2019, 7:38am Jamie Novak gives practical home organization tips in an easily readable format. But it can be somewhat difficult for the reader to actually successfully act on these tips...
Good Info, Lots of Repeats; Must Love Armoires submitted by Meginator on August 26, 2020, 4:16pm As the title promises, the bulk of this book consists of 1000 brief tips for organizing your living space and, to a lesser extent, your life. Though many are indeed quite useful, some are identical to previous tips, otherwise redundant, or woefully outdated in the age of nearly ubiquitous smartphones; a good number feel counterproductive and/or impractical, as well. Novak has a strange penchant for armoires, suggesting them as a storage solution in nearly every chapter. I found the lists at the back of the book more useful than most of the organizational tips, but a spin through the book did provide a few potentially helpful ideas, so it’s probably worth a look even if it’s less pragmatic, enlightening, or (oddly) minimalist-friendly than I was hoping for.
