COMMUNITY REVIEWS

A first novel submitted by unknown on January 31, 2007, 9:42pm This is a first novel written with exceptional style and grace. The charactors are fully realized, with rich inner life and outer also. Wonderful decriptions of mid-eastern rugs, from their beginnings-built by hand to the floors that they occupy in New York. We find out about the people who make these rugs. We have a better understanding of the designs and colors. The city of New York is an important charactor in the book. I highly recommend this wonderful book.
