It was OK submitted by MikeS on March 27, 2007, 10:59am I love the story of how this book's manuscript survived the War. It's utterly compelling. And I liked the opening chapters. But like so many unfinished works, you just KNOW she would have done great things with it. Her death, again, is part of the poignant "back story" of this novel. But I think the novel itself is sort of lacking. Maybe I need to try it again.

a compelling read submitted by 21621031390949 on July 9, 2011, 11:07am I first tried to listen to this book on BOCD but couldn't get into it. Reading the hard copy, however, I became fully engaged. Facinating story.
