It's 'veggie-mania' in Wallace and Gromit's neighborhood. The two enterprising friends are cashing in with their humane pest-control outfit, "Anti-Pesto." With only days to go before the annual Giant Vegetable Competition they find that their business is booming. They come to find out that running a "humane" pest control outfit can have its drawbacks. Suddenly, a large and mysterious veg-ravaging "beast" begins attacking the town's sacred vegetable plots at night. The competition hostess, Lady Tottington, commissions Anti-Pesto to catch the beast and save the day. But Victor Quartermaine would rather shoot the beast and secure the position of local hero - not to mention Lady Tottingon's hand in marriage.
DVD, region 1, widescreen (1.85:1) presentation; Dolby Digital 5.1 surround, Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo., dual layer, single sided.

Wallace & Gromit! submitted by elizabeth mayhew on August 23, 2018, 1:17am A fun & cute movie that balances funny with serious masterfully.

So good! submitted by Sara W on August 4, 2019, 6:44am The Wallace and Gromit shorts defined the duo’s humor and style, so it was a delight to find how well the filmmakers translated that to a feature-length movie. It’s funny, the gags are good, and it keeps up the pace. A great outing for these hilarious and hapless pals!

A lot of fun submitted by GSchne on July 31, 2022, 8:45pm A favorite in our house. It's loaded with silliness while still having an interesting plot.

Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit submitted by leighsprauer on July 21, 2023, 12:12pm It really doesn't get much better than Wallace and Gromit for family movies. Slapstick comedy for kids (and adults!), plus absurd and hilarious story lines, plus a few jokes just for adults, with lovable and ridiculous characters. My kids watched these a lot when they were younger, and we are watching them again now that they're teenagers. The animation is fantastic - the range of emotion that Gromit can express with just his brow is mild-blowing. The plot hardly matters, since it's so silly: Wallace and Gromit are pest-control professionals who are trapping rabbits ahead of a city-wide vegetable contest. But one of Wallace's inventions goes awry, and the job takes an unexpected twist. All in all a great movie, and one of my favorite Wallace and Gromits.
